The pastors of Ocean City Baptist Church are here to “shepherd the flock of God” that has been entrusted to them (1 Pet. 5:2). They do this, first of all, by “proclaiming Him” – faithfully preaching the Word of God on a weekly basis. But, more than preaching, they are also here to equip each member to proclaim Christ, to encourage them in their walk with Him, and to care for their souls. Here’s a brief biographical sketch of our pastors.
Senior Pastor
Kevin O’Brien
Kevin was born and raised in south Florida. He is a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute, Baptist Bible College (PA), and The Master's Seminary. While in seminary, he worked on the pastoral staff at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California. In 2002, he accepted the call to be the senior pastor of Ocean City Baptist Church. He and his wife, Beth, have two children.
Student Ministries Pastor
Jamie Anderson
Jamie grew up in Ft. Washington, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute, Liberty University, and The Master's Seminary. Before coming to Ocean City Baptist, Jamie was the editor of Generations of Grace, a children's Bible curriculum.
Music Minister
Phil Senseney
Phil is a New Jersey native and a graduate of Cedarville University. He has been a teacher and a band director at a local high school for the past 33 years. He and his wife, Barbara, have two children.
